As the owner of this website (the “Site”), RemedyReview LLC (“we” or “us”) understand that your privacy is of critical importance. This Privacy Policy describes what information we collect from you via the Site and how we use and disclose such information.

This Site is affiliated with Proper Media, LLC (“Proper Media”) for the purposes of placing advertising on the Site. Proper Media uses standard and widely-available tools for the placement and serving of ads, including those provided by Google, Inc. and its affiliates. We publish interest-based advertisements on the Site; that is, ads that are tailored to reflect your interests. For California Residents

California law gives residents the right to opt out of the “sale” of their personal information to third parties, including for advertising purposes. To be clear we do not share your name, contact information, or any other sensitive information with third parties, and the categories of third parties that we share information with for advertising purposes are supply side platforms, programmatic advertising exchanges, and demand side platforms.

Email Addresses

We may collect your email address, but only if you voluntarily provide it to us. This may occur, for example, if you sign up to receive an email newsletter, or enter a promotion. We will use your email address for the purposes for which you provided it to us, and also from time to time to send you emails regarding the Site or other products or services that we believe may be of interest to you. Registration or Account Data

How our business works for you

We endeavor to obtain free, no obligation quotes from potential suppliers of products and services for each of our customers, such as you, that make an inquiry via our website. This is a quote finding and supplier introduction service; we do not ourselves provide the products and services that you may require. We provide these services to consumers.

We aim to connect you to a supplier within 36 hours from your online completion of an enquiry working in conjunction with data controllers who specialize in the delivery of competitive supplier quotes. If you have enquired about solar panels in the UK on our website one of the companies that we work closely with is Project Solar UK. Depending on your postcode area and requirements we may pass your details to Project Solar. 

To be able to deliver suitable quotations to you we send your personal data and the details of your requirements to potential suppliers.

Your consent

To provide our service we first explain in more detail how we use your personal information so that the consent you give us, which is detailed in the next paragraph, is fully and fairly informed.

You give us consent to use your personal information as outlined in this privacy statement when you manually enter information about yourself on our website and submit it as a request to receive our quote finding service. This consent allows us to use your data as described in this statement of privacy policy. If you do not provide your consent by submitting your details / clicking on submit we will be unable to provide our quote finding service to you.

Provision of personal data and failure to provide personal data:

Where we need to collect personal data by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you (for example, to provide you with our services). In this case, we will not be able to provide services to you.

If we transfer personal data outside the EU to a processor, such transfer will be in compliance with the requirements of the GDPR.

Promotional offers from us: We may use your personal data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. Sale of Business or Assets

In the event that the Site or substantially all of its assets is sold or disposed of as a going concern, whether by merger, sale of assets or otherwise, or in the event of an insolvency, bankruptcy or receivership, the information we have collected about you may be one of the assets sold or merged in connection with that transaction.

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most recent version of the Privacy Policy will always be posted on the Site, with the “Effective Date” posted at the top of the Policy.
